Tanzania -Exceptional Children community empowerment project

Join the All of Us United (AOU) Team as we travel abroad to Tanzania. This is an amazing opportunity to join other Allied Health professionals to utilize your expertise by providing parent and caregiver training and therapeutic intervention for an underserved community in Bagamoyo. As a team, we’ll also engage in cultural experiences across Tanzania. This is an experience that you won’t want to miss!

Arusha

We will start the trip in Arusha. Arusha, nestled halfway between Cairo and Cape Town, is known for its intriguing culture with a population of over 100 nationalities and is Tanzania’s Safari capital. It is also known for its famous Mt. Kilimanjaro mountain. Culturally, Arusha is known for its Central Market (shopping), exciting food scene, cafe culture and interesting museums.

Bagamoyo

Bagamoyo is a coastal town in Tanzania with a population of 83,000 that sits near the Indian ocean across from Zanzibar. Bagamoyo was once one of the most important trading ports on the East African Coast.  Bagamoyo is where the AOU team will host our annual community event. This event will be an immersive day of parent trainings and interactive therapeutic stations for the children.
